But for now here is a picture of my attack Bald Eagle friend.
He sits in the nice hemlock tree that overlooks my HF Dipole antenna on guard duty.
.Actually, there are often two eagles that sit in the tree, especially during the winter. I don't know if this one is really the male one.
I assume they are a couple.
There is always open water in the river down below and I think they are looking for fish and other food to hunt. They often sit for
20, 25 or more minutes, constantly looking around, before swooping down toward the river valley.
